Win £5,000 for your care home!

For a third consecutive year, Bidfood is partnering with Kerrymaid and Care Home Catering Magazine in search for the care home that best recognises the importance of care home food when it comes to their residents’ quality of life. To be in with a chance of winning £5,000 and the title of Care Dine With Me Winner 2018, please submit a recipe that best demonstrates the ethos of your care home. For example, is it a dish that can be adapted for all residents no matter their dietary requirements? Is it a dish that your residents help make or does it use fresh produce grown and picked by residents on-site? Your chosen recipe is completely up to you and don’t forget it doesn’t have to be served during set meal times (it might be something used for a regular special event), but it must demonstrate that at the heart of your menu plan is the nutritional needs and well-being of every resident.

How to enter

Your entry should detail what the recipe is, why you’ve chosen it (including how it aids the welfare of your residents), any nutritional benefits and a photograph of the dish.
