We’re devoted to only working with accredited suppliers who take animal welfare as seriously as we do.
The range has grown over the years, alongside our customers’ needs and we are proud to have over 200 products to choose from covering all species and cuts. You will find both Farmstead branded and unbranded options, this gives us flexibility to source from different suppliers when needed, to offer real value.
Each and every one of the fresh meat products available through Bidfood has been carefully selected and approved by our Farmstead team to ensure quality standards are met throughout.
Supporting British farmers and animal welfare is really important to us here at Farmstead and we work with accredited schemes and unions to ensure we are doing our bit within the fresh meat industry, with many of our products being British Red Tractor assured, something we are really proud of. The fresh meat business can be daunting, but we’re here to help.
Our team truly are experts when it comes to fresh meat, and combined have over 100 years of experience within the industry, so there isn’t much if anything we don’t know. We’ve even got a master butcher, awarded from the Institute of Meat (the professional body for people in the meat industry).
Our experts are here to support you with choosing the right products for your business. The team also offer training and advice on menu planning and costing, as well as continually sharing their market knowledge and insights.
