Ingredients
Chickpeas | 250g |
Medium-sized onion | 1 |
Garlic cloves | 4 |
Inch ginger | 1 |
Green chillies | 2 |
Salt | 1 tsp |
Ground pepper | 1/2 tsp |
Coriander leaves | a handful |
Vegetable oil | for frying |
Method

- Soak chickpeas overnight.
- Grind coarsely along with ginger, garlic and green chillies.
- Add finely chopped onion and coriander leaves to the mixture.
- Add salt and pepper powder as well. Mix well.
- Give it the desired shape.
- Deep fry till golden – for extra crispiness deep fry twice.
- Serve hot with tzatziki.
