Maple and date porridge pot

Ingredients

Quaker gluten free porridge 100g
Everyday Favourites ground cinnamon 1g
Everyday Favourites whole hand pitted dates 100g
Everyday Favourites pure Canadian maple syrup 50g
Alpro cashew original 1 litre
Everyday Favourites medium desiccated coconut 2g

Method

  1. In a clean pan add the oats, mix in cinnamon, chopped dates, maple syrup then add the Alpro cashew.
  2. On a low to medium heat cook out for 25 - 30 minutes, slowly cooking the oats until creamy and cooked.
  3. While the porridge is cooking make the coconut butter by warming the coconut oil and then adding the cashew nuts and oil to high speed blend, pulse until smooth and creamy.
  4. Once the porridge is ready place into your desired serving bowl and top with the cashew butter and desiccated coconut.
