Ingredients
Everyday Favourites plain white flour | Dusting |
Plaice fillet 170-200g | 1 |
Everyday Favourites salted butter | 20g |
Peeled brown shrimps | 10g |
Samphire | 10g |
Lemon | 1/2 |
Method
- Place flour in a shallow dish and season with salt and pepper
- Pass the plaice through the seasoned flour for a light dusting
- Melt half the butter and brush over the plaice fillet
- Place the fillet under a very hot grill, allow to colour and then place in the oven at 180oc
- After 4 minutes, add the brown shrimps and the rest of the butter, allow butter to brown for a further 2 minutes
- Add samphire and cook for a further 2 minutes
- Gently life the plaice fillet onto your serving dish, top with brown shrimp and samphire. Finish with a drizzle of the melted butter and garnish with lemon, halved.
