  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.
  2. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. To make the meat sauce, heat olive oil in a large skillet or frying pan over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and sauté until onion is translucent and garlic is fragrant, about 5 minutes.
  4. Add the beef mince to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking up any clumps with a spatula.
  5. Stir in the chopped tomatoes, oregano and basil and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  7. Then, in a large baking dish, spread half of the cooked pasta on the bottom.
  8. Top with half of the meat sauce and half of the mozzarella cheese.
  9. Repeat with the remaining pasta, meat sauce, and mozzarella cheese.
  10. Save a little of the mozzarella as a topping.
  11. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  12. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, until cheese is deliciously melted and bubbly.
  13. Let the dish cool for a few minutes before serving.
  14. Serve with garlic bread and a side salad to make a complete meal.
