Chocolate crunchie cookie

Ingredients

Unsalted packet butter 150g
Soft brown sugar 80g
Caster sugar 80g
Vanilla flavouring 5ml
Medium fresh egg 1
Plain white flower 200g
Cocoa powder 25g
Bicarbonate soda 2g

Method

  1. Pre heat the oven to 190C. Place baking paper onto oven proof trays
  2. into a bowl place softened butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar and beat until creamy
  3. Then add the vanilla and egg
  4. Sift the plain flour, coco powder, bicarbonate of soda into the bowl and mix it in with a wooden spoon.
  5. Add crunchie bits, stir well
  6. Use a teaspoon to make small scoops of the mixture, spacing them well apart on the baking trays
  7. Bake for 8–10 minutes. Then allow to cool down before serving
