Ingredients
Old El Paso soft tortillas 8-10 | 5 |
Everyday Favourites extended life vegetable oil | 50ml |
Tate & Lyle caster sugar | 200g |
Everyday Favourites ground cinnamon | 5g |
Everyday Favourites solid pack apples | 1kg |
Condy lemon juice | 20ml |
Method
- Heat the oil in a pan. Using tongs, fry half the tortilla in a pan for a few seconds, then the other half, and repeat until all 5 are done.
- Mix half the sugar with half the cinnamon and sprinkle over the tortilla.
- For the filling, place the apples in a pan with the rest of the sugar, cinnamon and lemon juice and heat until the apples are soft and well stewed.
- Place the filling in the tortilla, fold, cut into 2 and serve.
