This Christmas, we have plenty of delicious vegetarian and vegan menu must-haves and we’ve highlighted a few of them below.
Up first, we have our vegetarian Taiteur de Paris rivoli amuse-bouches (41572) – a decadent selection of four canapé varieties.
These mouth-watering bites include: 12 butternut squash, Emmental and onion mini cakes, topped with pumpkin seeds; 12 PDO Comte and béchamel in a petit choux; 12 rosti with spinach, cream and then finished with a grilled artichoke, and finally, 12 mini croquets with tomato coulis, mozzarella, rocket complete with a basil pesto drizzle.
Perfect for any buffet selection or Christmas catering event.
We then have our vegan Little & Cull butternut squash and caramelised onion tart in beetroot pastry (41554), this tart is truly special. It has all the flavours and textures you could desire – a light shortcrust pastry, filled with butternut squash, caramelised onions, spinach and then topped with a quinoa and mixed seed crumb – delicious!
It is the perfect vegan starter or lunch time menu option and pairs nicely with a simple side salad.
Moving on to our vegan and gluten free Bute Island sheese, spring onion and garlic bake (15176). A delicious, simple serve dip.
This crowd-pleasing, gooey comfort treat is the perfect menu option, whether it’s to share or a meal option for one! Serve with toasted sourdough, baked nachos, crispy roast potatoes or even crunchy vegetables! Simply heat and plate as desired.
Up next, is KK squash, brie, beetroot and truffle infused oil tart (41570) – one of our vegetarian and gluten free Christmas menu options. It is filled with roasted squash and brie, beetroot chutney and a rich sauce which is infused with truffle oil and cheddar!
A dish which is deep with flavour and creamy in texture, a real menu winner!
Last but certainly not least, we have our vegan Scheff Foods beetroot wellington (41575), another perfect addition to the Christmas range this year! A handmade vegan wellington, with beetroot, onion and soya mince filling, all hand wrapped in a crisp puff pastry case. Rich in flavour and is a perfect meat free main to include on your festive menu this year!
