What’s so good about our beans?

First of all our coffee is blended, using the green beans and then slow-roasted. Each blend has only one roast period, making the colour more even and consistent. Our beans are slow-roasted in smaller volumes, for 7-14 minutes, allowing the beans to cook all the way through. This avoids any of the bean weight to be lost in the roasting process, producing a far superior flavour than flash-roasting. Our range includes the award-winning Dark Roast which scooped Hot Beverages winner at the Caterer Product Excellence awards 2016. The Dark Roast is a balanced blend of Brazilian, Ethiopian and Vietnamese coffee beans, giving a bright medium to full bodied coffee with a hint of mocha taste.

• Medium roast coffee beans – a unique blend of carefully selected coffee beans slow roasted and blended to produce a balanced blend, for a bright medium to full bodied coffee with a citrus zest taste. 70% arabica, 30% robusta.
• Fairtrade medium roast coffee beans – a unique blend of carefully selected coffee beans from Brazil and Vietnam roasted to produce a bright full bodied rich coffee with a citrus zest taste. 70% arabica, 30% robusta.
• Costa Rican medium roast 100% arabica coffee beans – grown at over 1,350m the ideal altitude for the best balance of citrus acidity and complex combination of fruit and smooth chocolate notes. 100% arabica.
