We are looking to strengthen the current senior management structure with a forward thinking, strategic Head of Operations within our Slough depot. As a leader of this team, achieving budget will be a given. This will be achieved through facilitating the creation and delivery of profitable service to customers, managing and developing the operations teams and enhancing the critical relationships and processes affecting the sales team and depot. With the onus of the operation being Service Excellence whilst achieving financial targets.

Slough will deliver a complete catering solution to customers of all sizes throughout its nominated area, through a fleet of new LGV’s. Your performance will be in line with agreed company KPIs including operating costs, overall profit and loss, service standards and customer retention.

Strategic planning, change management, and continuous improvement are all essential ingredients for this role, these need to have been gained within the logistics arena, in either a senior operations or general management position

You will be responsible for providing direction to your management team and managing performance to maximise depot profitability in line with our company values. The departments under your control would be Transport, Warehouse and Site Excellence.

You will be able to demonstrate excellent people management skills as well as experience of commercial thinking and delivery of results.
